Last week FAUN Trackway®’s CEO, Chris Kendall and Product Support Engineer, Neil Wigley were delighted to exhibit at Farnborough Air Show from Monday 16th July to Friday 20th July, supported by the Welsh Government.

Farnborough Airshow provides the most diverse range of exhibitors, connecting aerospace professionals across all areas of the industry.

Displaying our Helipad Multi- Role Packaging (MRP) solution intrigued visitors from far and wide this year. The custom built, multi-purpose ISO container, specifically designed to support our range of expedient Helicopter Landing Mats, adds versatility to both expeditionary and civilian operations.

Transported by helicopter, the MRP enables expeditionary, humanitarian and relief personnel to access all the equipment and tools necessary to build a helipad, before transforming into a Forward Operating Station. Fitted with power, air conditioning, and ample storage space, the container can be configured to include two sleeping spaces and can be used off shore.

Compatible with both the PSA and PSA-R helipad variants – designed by our engineers to create stable, temporary landing surfaces – the modular structure enables the panels to be laid in varying configurations to accommodate different helicopters.

A Helicopter Landing Mat (HLM) allows for the creation of safe landing areas or zones, used additionally for helicopter servicing, parking and take off.

When visiting FAUN Trackway® and speaking with our Product Support Engineer, companies were interested in our full range of Aviation Solutions, raising awareness of our Aircraft Landing Mat, Rapid Runway Repair and UAV Landing Mat products.

Our CEO commented;

“Farnborough Airshow, once again, has been an excellent opportunity for FAUN Trackway® to exhibit our range of Aviation Solutions. Our location on the Welsh Government stand offered regular passing trade who took great interest in our Helipad Multi-Role Packaging model. We look forward to attending again in 2020.”

The FAUN Trackway® team will next be exhibiting at DVD in Millbrook from Wednesday 19th to Thursday 20th September where we will be demonstrating our Heavy Ground Mobility System.
