POSITION: SUPPORT / COMPLIANCE ENGINEER
JOB TYPE: PERMANENT
LOCATION: LLANGEFNI, NORTH WALES.
The engineer will take responsible for leading product compliance against customer contractual requirements, specified commercial / military standards and UK/EU/worldwide directive.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Planning and facilitation of product testing both internally and with external test providers when required;
- Attending design reviews to ensure that all designs comply;
- Reviewing and approving internal test plans & reports;
- Ensuring applicable CE directives are adhered to and maintained;
- Construct technical construction files;
- Conduct product design reviews against relevant human factors and risk assessment standards;
- Managing, Liaising and working with ILS specialists and FAUN engineers to deliver customer ILS requirements;
- Ensuring product complies with customer contractual requirements;
- Responsible for developing and delivering customer factory and site acceptance protocol;
- Responsible for ensuring product documentation (Operator, Maintenance and Illustrated parts catalogues) are developed and kept up to date;
- Liaising with illustrators and engineers to develop procedures.
The experience and skills required for this role include:
- A working knowledge of compliance, legislation & standards;
- Educated to degree level in an engineering subject;
- Knowledge of engineering principles with a logical approach to problem solving;
- Able to prioritise and progress multiple projects in parallel;
- Excellent IT skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Have ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 systems knowledge and experience;
- Mobile Electrical and Hydraulic systems knowledge;
- Experience with 3D CAD systems – CREO;
- ILS Experience;
- UK and International travel will be required.
