The modular MGMS portable roadway system comprises of four key elements:

• TRACKWAYThe aluminium panels that form the temporary roadway
• FASTRACKThe launch and recovery system for the temporary roadway

• SPOOLRACKAdditional lengths of portable roadway are carried by trailer
  

The temporary roadway is provided in 32m lengths and can be deployed by two men in less than 10 minutes. The portable roadway will withstand repeated loads of up to 30 tonnes (rated to MLC30).

MGMS is best suited to providing temporary roadway access for vehicles with pneumatic tyres, and creating beach landing access. MGMS is in varied use worldwide, including extensive use by UK MOD for over thirty years.
